Can I use marble work for free?
Yes! The Free plan of marble work is permanently free – without time limit and without a credit card. You can use the core time tracking features and get to know marble work at your own pace. When you need more, simply upgrade to Pro.

How many team members can I invite?
In the Pro plan there is no limit on team members (Payment per member). You invite new employees by email or add them manually and they are immediately ready to go. With roles and permissions you control exactly who can see and do what.

Do I need to download an app to use marble work?
No. marble work runs directly in the browser – on any device, without installation. The interface is fully responsive and works equally on desktop, tablet and smartphone. All changes are synchronised in real time. BUT you're still welcome to download marble work for free from the App Store or Play Store onto your smartphone or tablet.

Is my data stored securely and GDPR-compliant?
Yes. marble work is hosted in Germany and is fully GDPR-compliant. Your data belongs to you and will never be passed on to third parties.

How does work time tracking work in marble work?
You record your start time, breaks and end of day independently of your project times. marble work supports various attendance types such as office, home office, holiday or sick leave – freely configurable. You can also define working time models with individual target hours per employee and export the data at any time.

How does the timer work in marble work?
One click starts the timer, another stops it. While the timer is running, the current time shows right in your browser tab – so you can see at a glance that the clock is ticking. Forgot to start? No problem: add time entries after the fact, with start and end time or as a total duration.

What types of reports does marble work offer?
The dashboard shows you at a glance which projects are active and how much time has been logged. On top of that, time trend charts across days, weeks, or months, and an interactive time distribution by project and client. All reports can be filtered by flexible date ranges and exported as CSV, Excel or PDF.

What happens to the data when a team member leaves the company?
All time entries of former employees are fully retained and can be evaluated. Not a single record is lost – you can still evaluate, export and bill time after they have left.

Yes. With a single login you can be a member of multiple organizations and switch between them. Track your time across different companies without logging in and out. The only requirement is that each organization has an active Pro plan.

Can I mark entries as billable or internal?
Yes. Every time entry can be marked as billable or internal. That way, at the end of the month you know exactly which hours you can invoice to your clients and which time was spent internally.
